Grogy - Yes I have the same problem. I was wondering if anyone had that problem too. Also, it procrastinates until you get out the loosing trade & then reverse to the positive direction which you where waiting. I would do well for a 3-4 days then loose all what I made, and have to start all over. Just want to say beware.

@eddie - The forex market isn't on an exchange, and it isn't regulated by any one regulatory body, which means that any broker can offer any price they want. I've traded with Interbank FX, and I know that they get their prices from a pool of banks, and they also pass trades onto these banks. And I know that a lot of brokers out there feed their clients what ever prices makes the broker the most money.

Maybe, and just maybe, it's your EA that s*cks (as do about 98% of all EAs out there), and it's your EA that's a SCAM.

And one last thing: have you ever heard of a period or any other form of punctuation? You're not exactly making a compelling argument for yourself in the way of intelligence. Your post should be removed on the basis of sheer inanity.

i just closed my account with that broker same thing every time i make money & at the same time im looking at different broker spreads it was different even the candlestick pattern was different basically they were controlling they said i could use EA never could for some reason it will not work same controlling it they are SCAM

Have you notice how the pip value will ascend/descend just exactly enough to margin out your trade and then immediately reverse. Does this happen to anyone else?

I've traded live for a year with IBFX and had a 41% ROI. However, I've been reviewing other brokers recently and came across many sites that call IBFX a scam. I'd be hesitant to call them a scam myself, since I know I can make money.

That said...I have noticed the spikes other people refer to. I stopped using a set stop loss a while back since I always lost money when I did that. Also, I've been suspicious for some time of a particular activity. I trade on larger scale time frames and put my trades in a minimum of days, but often weeks or a couple of months before the trade takes. Here's what's interesting - no matter how much I try to play it safe and bring my entry or exit point within a safety range, it always reverses within 1-4 pips of my entry exit. I mostly close my trades manually and early to avoid this.

I assumed it was just bad luck on my part (despite this happening a good 30 times this year, which is a lot considering I only place 6-8 trades per month at most), but now I wonder. Perhaps they are making minor adjustments in pricing on my software to avoid let me cash out on good trade or enter on a good one?). I've presumed I've been paranoid to this point, but maybe not? Also, how might the delayed price feed allow them to perform small price adjustments like that in their favor?

I cannot believe the reviews I read here about IBFX, forced me to comment. They are a great company, I have been trading on and off with them since about 2006. No complaints, love MT4. Will continue trading with them. Have no reason to advice people otherwise.

Watch out! If you start to win they'll hit you hard with slippage, frozen feed, account disconnections, and the inability to enter trades or exit trades with their error message "Off Quotes".... "Off Quotes".... "Off Quotes." Even when I have maximum deviation set to the maximum setting the "Off Quotes" message appears and prevents me from entering at an optimum moment. The same with exits. I have been using IBFX for a few months and had been relatively satisfied until recently. Recently I installed OU Forex Mastery software and started identifying better points of entry and exit, catching nice moves. Almost instantly after I installed OU Forex Mastery the entire performance and behavior of IBFX radically changed. Suddenly "Off Quotes" appears almost every time I try to enter an order, or close an order. The data feed from IBFX now freezes and when the chart resumes I found there has been a big jump during the frozen feed. The account suddenly disconnects at the most inconvenient times for me interfering with my trading results. It's now suddenly impossible to enter a trade or close a trade without bad slippage. Terrible! Friday afternoon I tried to exit a position before the market closed. I got the error "Off Quotes" over and over until the market closed. I was not able to close my position before the market closed for the weekend. With the major gaps that often occur lately over the weekend, I am very, very displeased with what IBFX has done to my account.

IBFX was the first broker that I used back in 2006. I do remember the Same problems as with MOST mt4 brokers.. Delayed execution, and I could NEVER close a Profitabel trade without a Requote. I moved to FXCM quickly after IBFX and I was Happy for a Long time. BUt....Check out my experience with FXCM

Stay far away from this one! I opened a demo account about a month ago and did fairly well. I then opened a live account and saw $3000.00 become $300.00 in one week. I have a broadband connection and experienced screen freezes, large spikes in the opposite direction taking out my positions and returning to previous levels, and requotes which were never in my favor. Warning! You will not make money with this broker.

OK until you start making money and then it's "re-quote, no trading etc etc." Typical loathesome Meta Trader outfit. Stay away from them.

last night I just watched eur/usd and gbp/usd at19.52 pm 03/05/2010
tank 600 pips,when I tryed counter move the spread was 600 pips on both
,the move now does not show on the charts but both trades lost 5,192 and 7342 respectivly in about 5 mins,I was testing before going live this broker,I would have been very pissed if live.I am strugling to find a good broker with mt4 platform

I have been doing trading with ibfx but I wish I get any profit I have been loosing money every week.

All this forex broker company boss should be behind bar to protect consumer.They are modern day Robin Hood. They just keep robbing you until you are broke. Nobody can beat them unless authority take action to close them down.they know your where is your stop loss and keep hunting to take you out of the market. They cheat their own customer.

Keep your money in your bank account instead of put into ibfx account.There are biggest modern scam in forex market.They will chase your stop lose and keep hunting until your account wipe out. Trust me. Forex can only make broker company a fat profit not us. In a long term nobody can beat them. It is worst than casino. In casino you pay small percentage when you win. In forex you pay the spread win or lose. They are playing a mind game with you until you lost your last penny.

I have an account with Interbank Forex for over 3 years and I have not made any money. Again thier spreads are to high. What I think is they have a lack of liquidity. They are not a non dealing platform. I also think they had lost hundreds of customer due to the same reason.

They are ok.Not great not a scam either.
The ones rating them as a scam are just noobs.
They are a budget broker.
I don't use them anymore because of connection issues.
Commissions 99 cents per side for ES mini futures I got when trading 1000+ contracts.
And I pay $3.5 a side now through RCG for under 1000 because they never d/c you ever.
You can connect ninja trader to them which is better.But it takes to long to load historical data.
So you are better off just storing live data from the price feed from TWS that ninja trader makes into bars from the ticker.
Ninja has millions of indicators you can learn to make your own, or pay a dude to make them, and auto trading scripts.
Anyone wanting to use Ninja Trader I recommend going to there webinars to teach you to use it.
Because it took me 2 years before I got the hang of it.
Its very advanced.

Is interbankfx a scam?

they claim to be a non-dealing desk, but yet they use meta trader, the same program that has a "virtual dealer plugin" which can be used to scam customers
