To "becoming trader"...sorry but you're a shit talking fake...pal. I've been with ACM for 8 months now...live for 3 of 'em. I know you're a damn liar cos ACM do not charge a penny for anything, not any services (that includes even having a telephone conversation with their Chief Market guy...if I can catch him, not even commission on trades. Client Support service is fine as well, I know you are also a liar because I have never called them, they arrange a time to call me...there is even a Live Chat service on their homepage. So why you lying?? Work for another broker?

Even though this Swiss brokerot offers trading without capital gain tax, it alone cannot be a reason to choose.
I have come to notice their system is not always so reliable.
When I was with their demo account, there was a strange thhing happened. The position I left open, was closed for unknown cause.
I was really lucky that it was just a pratice. Otherwise I must have lost $1500 or so, because of their mechnical fuck up.
I am now convinced that:
I will not choose them for real.And will not recommend to anyone else.
One mechanical failure out of 1000 is just bad enough.
Their customer suppoort is also rubbish. They always want you to call them, without responding you by e mail while they list their e mail adderess on site for the purpose of close contact. They are keen to sell you more and more unneeded things, but less than reluctant to answer question.

I joined ACM in May of this year as a result of their Best Online FX Services they got at the London Stock Exchange. Service is nice, very....Swiss!

I don't understand, the only such scam event related to ACM that I am aware of, the 2008 story, is supposed to be related to MexicanBank FX who stole/lost through bad trading their clients money.

These people are criminals. I am one of the victims of their major scam of late 2008. Time is drawing near. The case against them is formidable. I wouldn't be surprised if they are completely out of business by early 2010 if they don't make full restitution of stolen funds.

I was looking for a broker with a good background, after trying many (some which was good) I stay with ACM because they give me more of what i am liking personally than the other broker. I start with small account then move to a standard, this give me better spread. I liking very much the advanced treder platform and the new treding tool called FXInsider which bring immediate news to me to trade off.

One thing we clearly learned from the past is that ACM love openly insulting people on public forums, it kinda runs in the veins...
Just for the record, Mr. Johnson: a mentality cannot be “unintelectual”, not only because such word does not even exist in English vocabulary, but because “mentality” is the capacity of an individual to exercise his or her intellect, and where “unintellectual mentality” would bear the same meaning as, for instance, “unwatery water”, “uneducated educator”, “unsuspicious suspect” or furthermore “uncultured ethics, exercised on my boss’s behalf with intent to lick his behind, while pretending im actually working here for a reason”.
Just make sure you hide your IP properly this time. Glorified telemarketer!

my friend is looking for a new job because they are sweeping the team to fire La Marca's followers to have a better chance with the bank license, which nobody is sure they will get

a friend of mine works for ACM and he says there is a war going on on the management level: apparently the CEO (Lloyd La Marca) is being pushed out of position by the other shareholders Nicolas Bang, Alex Axarlis and other top managers.
thats the only reason they increased capital to 30 mln - to dilute his shares and by now the money has returned to the investor (see http://ge.ch/ecohrcmatic/ - the shares are "liberated", so no obligation to keep them on accounts once the record was made)

Wow just like the last review I posted on here I sure see a lot of wanking about brokers on this site and for this particular broker I see nothing but whining and complaining from traders who enter a position and think that a 10 or 20 pip stop getting taken out is "them" stealing your money.

Get a GRIP on reality folks! Trading involves risk! That means if you put the money up you are taking the risk. Get over it!

Firstly I saw these reviews and like anyone else I wondered how many are true and how many are posted from WANKERS! Well I have since found that the positive posts are likely the true ones and the negative ones are totally false! WANKERS! How did I find this out? Well since I'm a real trader who understands how to manage risk I went and opened an account, I'm not the type of person to rate them on practice accounts.

Since opening the account I have learned that they are a totally upstanding and honest broker. Execution is top notch and I have never been slipped. That's right read it right here WANKERS!!! NEVER BEEN SLIPPED!!! Cry me a river of tears you tossers!!! All of the losses I took were lost at the level I set my stops... BOO HOO I lost money whah "they" must be F**kin with me on purpose!!! WHA WHAh Grow up and take it on the chin boys and girls. NEVER BEEN SLIPPED!

To those who whine about spreads widening - Screw off will ya your reports of spreads rising to 70 pips etc etc are cr*pping from your mouths. Yes spreads can widen at certain times but on majors it's never that much - Some of the pairs like GBP/NZD and USD/ZAR or USD/MXN can be pretty wide but they are normally with any other broker anyway so who are you trying to fool with your baby cranky pants bull sh*t!? Maybe you should just learn how to trade profitably instead of trying to scalp your way to financial freedom using 2 pips profit takes!!! WANKERS! If your profits are the difference between 2 pips and 5 pips you seriously need to shake your head and learn how to trade instead of gambling! Slot Machines are your game if that is the case!

To all of those who wank off and toss your uninformed opinions around get a life and go learn how to trade! Quit blaming brokers for market conditions!

A disgusting company that should be investigated fully by the Swiss and US authorities. They claim no slippage but delight in price manipulation to close clients postions. Run by 3 money hungry young guys in Geneva that delight in squeezing every client for what they have.
NY, Dubai and Montevideo are run by loyal servants that would sell their souls for money!

Already excellent execution seems to have been made even better in the last 3 months, especially during news trades. I am happy.

Do the research offices raided in april 2009 by 28 police officers with guns. They took computers and documents...ooops.

I had Account with them for just 1 month.
All there talk about lowering spreads, is a joke.
Once you are live with them, just see there spreads than.
There spreads increase like 20-30 Pips.
Its very hard to trade with ACM, its like throwing away your hard earned money.
I wouldnt recommend to my friends to trade with ACM

Bah! Golfer, You know that this is another attempt to set up ACM, simple software makes it so easy to make any IP you want appear...it's child's play. The question now is who would do such a thing? It's like asking a successful lawyer "do you have any enemies?" Looking at forums over the few months it could be MexBank or another competitor who wants to take advantage of the current situation and jump on the band wagon to add more pressure on the broker. Just wait for the judges to show MexBank are the scamming artists we have been shown they are (SEC stuff above)
